Badass Animal Rescue is proud to be an official charity partner of New York Road Runners for the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon.

This is your chance to run through all five boroughs: Staten Island, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Manhattan — while helping us save Badass dogs from underserved communities.

Every mile you run fuels rescue missions, medical care, foster placement, and life-changing adoptions.

Team Badass runners commit to fundraising a minimum of $3,500 due in full by 11:59 p.m. EST on Monday, October 26, 2026. If the fundraising pledge is not met, the remaining balance is charged to the card on file on Tuesday, October 27, 2026. If the fundraising minimum is not met, Badass Animal Rescue reserves the right to restrict the runners access to the Marathon. All runners will sign a fundraising agreement acknowledging requirements and deadlines. In addition to the fundraising pledge, Badass Animal Rescue runners are responsible for the NYRR race registration fee plus processing fee. ($255 for NYRR members, $315 for non-members of NYRR).

Applications close on March 25th 2026*. If you are selected to participate on Team Badass, you will be notified by April 2nd, 2026.
