BIO: The Sisserou Parrot has fewer than 50 individuals left in the wild. I am way more available than that. What I share with my namesake is this: a quietness that doesn't mean absence. I'm one year old, which usually comes with a lot of chaos attached — but calm is genuinely how I move through the world. I'm not subdued. I'm just settled in a way that tends to surprise people who expect a puppy. I'm young, I'm healthy, and I am very much just getting started.
HER FOSTER SAYS: Sisserou Parrot will arrive in Brooklyn soon! We will share more as soon as she is in a foster home.

Sisserou Parrot was rescued from the island of Dominica, where she was in the care of a local rescue partner. She will travel to Brooklyn in mid-June 2026.
