Sir Isaac Lime
AGE / WEIGHT: 3 mos old / weight TBD
GENDER: Male
ENERGY: Puppy energy!
GOOD WITH: Dogs - Yes, Kids - Yes, Cats - TBD
BIO: The ball is the point. The ball has always been the point. I'll chase it, fumble it, and bring it back for another round until one of us gives out. I'm a goofy, clumsy, all-heart puppy who takes a minute to warm up to new folks and then decides you're my favorite. I'm still figuring out busy sidewalks and the finer points of couch-jumping, but I learn fast when someone's got time for me.
HIS FOSTER SAYS: "He really wants to get on the couch. He does the goofiest jumps and almost always misses."

Sir Isaac Lime was born in early May 2026 in a foster home, after his mother was found heavily pregnant at a shelter in Selma, Alabama, in a litter of nine puppies. He traveled to the Brooklyn area in late July 2026.

There is one thing this puppy is absolutely certain about, and it is the ball. Fetch is his love language, his cardio, and his idea of a perfect afternoon. He is goofy, gentle, and endlessly entertaining, with a clumsy streak that turns simple activities like hopping onto the couch into full comedy routines he rarely lands.
He is a young, high-energy pup who is friendly once he trusts you. New people get a shy, cautious first impression before he decides they're wonderful and appoints himself their shadow. He is affectionate and deeply attached to his person, happiest when he's close by and part of whatever's happening.
He has done well around other dogs and would be content in a home with a resident dog, though he doesn't require one. He's been calm and tolerant meeting children of various ages out in the world, so kids of all ages should be fine. He hasn't spent time around cats yet, so that pairing is still an unknown.
The basics are off to a strong start. He's crate trained and comfortable in his crate, has a solid house-training foundation, and is building leash skills, though busy streets still make him a little nervous. He's a smart, trainable dog who genuinely wants to get it right.
What he needs most is an adopter with real time to invest in a puppy's education. He's ready to learn fast, follow someone everywhere, and keep working on those couch landings. -
Sir Isaac Lime is up-to-date on required vaccinations and microchipped. Due to his age, hhe has been tested for heartworm. He has also not yet been neutered; this procedure will need to be done no later than 6 months of age.
He has received a full health check and is currently in good health. However, we cannot make any guarantees regarding his future health or medical needs.
Complete veterinary records, dating back to the time of rescue, are typically sent via email after an adoption. They can also be sent in advance of an adoption, upon request.
