Confident and responsive, she listens well to her handler, keeps all four paws on the ground, and enjoys engaging with the world around her—especially when there’s dirt to dig in. Shawn has shown positive, polite interactions with other dogs, adapting her approach based on their energy and respecting boundaries. With her charm, curiosity, and good manners, she’s ready to thrive in a loving home.

Meet Shawn Johnson, the wiggliest, happiest couch potato you’ll ever encounter. This mellow beauty has perfected the art of cuddling—graceful as an Olympic gymnast in her snuggle form—and is happiest lounging beside her humans, soaking up pets and praise like a gold-medal champion. She’s curious about other dogs, but mostly Shawn sticks to her favorite routine: calm companionship over chaos.
Leash skills? Work in progress but improving. She’s crate trained, has the basics of house manners down, and loves learning new tricks—especially when treats are involved. Bonus: her pug-like snorts and grunts make her snores downright adorable.
People-wise, Shawn is thrilled to meet anyone and everyone. She greets her dog walker like a long-lost friend and radiates warmth for new faces. Other pets? She coexists politely with dogs, but she’s a little too interested in cats to safely share a home with them.
She brings charm, patience, and a readiness to settle into a forever couch. Her favorite pastime? Snuggling in your lap, stealing your attention, and reminding you that life is better with a gentle, wiggly companion by your side.

Shawn is up-to-date on required vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. She tested positive for heartworm and still requires treatment.
