BIO: I might look like a dainty lap dog, but I’ve got the spirit of a leader and the focus of a hunter...when playing with my favorite toy that is. I’m a world-class snuggler who expresses joy through rhythmic paw-taps. I’m smart, gentle, and seeking a loyal squad that doesn't mind carrying me across busy intersections. Ready to join my inner circle?
HER FOSTER SAYS: "She is a snuggle bug and will do happy front paw taps when you greet her."

Rumi is here to remind everyone that bravery sometimes looks like tiny steps… and occasionally being carried across the street like royalty. 👑
With a name shared with a certain fearless K-pop heroine, you might expect a larger-than-life personality and Rumi delivers, just in her own delightfully goofy way. She’s a clumsy, affectionate little sidekick who is equal parts cuddle bug and curious explorer, still figuring out the big city but tackling it with determination (and a healthy supply of treats).
At home, Rumi is all sweetness. She’s friendly, gentle, and loves being around people. If you greet her or start preparing food, you’ll likely be rewarded with her signature move: enthusiastic little front paw “happy taps.” It’s basically applause, but for you.
Rumi enjoys moderate activity including walks, playtime, and then plenty of lounging. She’s also deeply committed to her favorite toy: a corndog with a velcro container. Her current hobby is dramatically sticking it in, ripping it out, and repeating the process until she’s completely exhausted. It’s performance art.
Like many young pups adjusting to city life, Rumi is still building confidence outside. Crosswalks can be intimidating and sometimes require a quick lift-and-carry assist, but she’s already making progress (stairs were once impossible, and now she conquers them with gusto). She’s smart, inquisitive, and very trainable—just give her time and encouragement.
Rumi is also doing well with other dogs, greeting them politely and curiously on walks. Potty training and leash skills are still works in progress, but she’s learning quickly and improving every day.
The ideal home for Rumi will appreciate a sensitive, silly pup who’s still growing into her confidence. In return, you’ll get cuddles, comedy, and a tiny hype squad who celebrates your existence with happy paw taps. -
