BIO: Roseau is the capital of Dominica — compact, warm, and more full of life than its size suggests. That's pretty much me. I'm not a big dog. I'm not a loud dog. But the moment you sit down, I'm already positioning myself for maximum contact, and by the time you notice, I'm completely settled in your lap like I've always lived there. My future plans are straightforward: horizontal, close to you, perfectly content. I've been waiting a long time for someone to sit down.

Roseau was rescued from the island of Dominica, where he was cared for by a local rescue partner. He will travel to Brooklyn in mid-June 2026.

The dogs in our care are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered (when old enough), microchipped, and given a general health check. Immediate medical needs and medical history will be addressed with the adopter prior to adoption. Complete vet records will be sent shortly after adoption.
