BIO: Consider me your new, very soft shadow. While I’m a respectful houseguest who stays off the furniture, I will absolutely claim your lap the second you hit the floor. I’m currently refining my "indoor manners"—the crate and potty training are works in progress—but I’m highly food-motivated and eager to learn. Basically, I’m the best roommate you’ll ever have.

HER FOSTER SAYS: "If you want to be the most popular dog owner on the block, Mira is the dog for you. She has an irresistibly cute face, friendly demeanor, and classic black and white patterning that makes humans light up when they see her."

  • Rescued from Georgia; Mira arrived in Brooklyn in late February 2026.

  • Meet Mira. If you’ve ever wanted to feel like a B-list celebrity’s bodyguard, this is your chance. Mira is a black-and-white showstopper who gets stopped on the street by strangers just so they can admire her face. Don’t feel bad for her being "in search of a home"—feel lucky if she chooses yours.

Mira is a professional "giver." She doesn’t just wait for affection; she wags her way into a stranger’s personal bubble to offer a lick and a deep soul-stare. While she’s currently a respectful houseguest who stays off the furniture, she is a world-class snuggler the second you hit the floor. Your personal space is now our personal space.

She occupies the perfect "moderate-to-active" energy bracket. She’s a goofy explorer who handles the rain like a champ with a little encouragement, though she’s still a bit skeptical of loud city intersections. She treats plush toys like a high-stakes demolition project, so expect some fluff-based interior decorating.

Now, for the "work in progress" fine print: Mira is still mastering the arts of potty training and crate training. She isn't a fan of being confined just yet and will need a human who is ready to put in the consistent reps to make the crate a neutral, quiet space. She is highly food-motivated and eager to please, which makes the training curve a lot shallower.

If you’re ready for a loyal, slightly nosey, and incredibly striking companion, Mira is ready to meet you.

  • The dogs in our care are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered (when old enough), microchipped, and given a general health check. Immediate medical needs and medical history will be addressed with the adopter prior to adoption. Complete vet records will be sent shortly after adoption.
