BIO: The drink I'm named after? Acquired taste. Me? One look and you're done for. When everyone else is losing their mind, I'm the one keeping it together — cool, quiet, unbothered. A cuddle-close kind of guy who takes life at my own pace (with a little extra swagger in my step). Patient, sweet, and ready to be your person's person.

Maubi was rescued from Dominica, where he was known for being the calm, quiet presence among the other dogs — sweet-natured and patient even in a busy kennel. He sustained an injury to his back left knee and walks with a noticeable limp, but gets around just fine and hasn't let it slow him down. He'll be traveling to Brooklyn in mid-June 2026.

The dogs in our care are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered (when old enough), microchipped, and given a general health check. Immediate medical needs and medical history will be addressed with the adopter prior to adoption. Complete vet records will be sent shortly after adoption.
