Louie-Bloo Raspberry
AGE / WEIGHT: 3 mos old / weight TBD
GENDER: Male
ENERGY: Puppy energy!
GOOD WITH: Dogs - Yes, Kids - Yes, Cats - Yes
ABOUT ME: Stairs? Conquered. Treats? Non-negotiable. I'm a silly, wiggly puppy who thinks every person on the sidewalk is a friend I haven't sniffed yet. I'll follow you room to room, flop into your lap, and bring a squeaky toy for backup. I'm still figuring out the whole growing-up thing, so there's training ahead, but I learn fast when snacks are involved. Fetch, cuddles, repeat. That's the dream.
MY FOSTER SAYS: "He is the cutest little guy! He is my shadow and is very interested in everything I do, especially when food is involved!"

Louie-Bloo Raspberry was born in a foster home in early May 2026, one of a litter of nine puppies after his mother was found heavily pregnant at a shelter in Selma, Alabama. He traveled to the Brooklyn area in late July 2026.

Louie-Bloo Raspberry is a young puppy with a big, goofy heart and the social instincts of a dog who has decided the world is full of friends. He walks right up to new people for a sniff and a round of pets, wags through introductions, and treats a sidewalk full of strangers as an opportunity. Sweet, playful, and a little clumsy, he is happiest when someone he loves is nearby.
He has plenty of puppy energy to burn and loves a good game of fetch, a peanut butter Kong, and any plushie with a squeaker inside. He is also a devoted shadow who follows his person from room to room and settles in for a cuddle the moment things slow down. Give him activity and company and he is a content little guy.
Louie-Bloo has been friendly and gentle with the adults and kids he has met, and he currently shares a home with a cat, alternating between wanting to play with her and politely ignoring her. His comfort with other dogs hasn't been tested yet, so a meet-and-greet would be the way to gauge that.
Like any puppy still settling into a new city, he is a work in progress on the basics. He already knows sit, comes when called, and answers to his name, and he is picking up his crate and potty routines with the help of treats, which motivate him enormously. He is still learning his manners around people and food. An adopter ready to keep up his training and match his energy will find an eager, fast learner.
This is a puppy who went from needing to be carried up the stairs to flying up them on his own, one treat at a time. Whatever comes next, he is ready to learn it. -
The dogs in our care are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered (when old enough), microchipped, and given a general health check. Immediate medical needs and medical history will be addressed with the adopter prior to adoption. Complete vet records will be sent shortly after adoption.
