ABOUT ME: My sister usually goes first, and I’m happy to let her. Somebody has to scout things out, and she’s good at it. Don’t mistake me for shy, though. I’ll climb straight into your lap, smother you in kisses, and wag hello at a new dog friend. Leashes are a mystery so far (I flipped, I flopped, I rolled), but every hero gets a training montage. Mine starts in Brooklyn.

Kung Fu Panda was found as a stray in Georgia and entered a local shelter with his sister in early June 2026. He traveled to Brooklyn in mid-October and will move into a foster home soon.

Kung Fu Panda is a sweet, easygoing puppy who has spent his early days letting his sister take the lead. When our team visited him in a Georgia shelter, she went first and he followed along, perfectly content in the role of loyal sidekick. Don’t read that as timid, though. He isn’t fearful at all, just new to pretty much everything.
Take the leash. It was clearly the first one he’d ever worn, and his response was a burst of flips, rolls, and belly-up flopping that looked a lot like a puppy inventing his own fighting style. He’ll be starting leash training from scratch, along with the other basics every young dog needs.
Where he shines right now is affection. He’s eager for attention and happy to climb into a lap for snuggles and a generous round of kisses. When he met another dog, he wanted to say hello and showed no nerves or aggression.
Because he hasn’t traveled to Brooklyn yet, these are early impressions. His crate and house training, his energy level at home, and his comfort with kids and cats are still unknown, and his foster will report back as he settles. Adopters should expect puppy training and some transition time.
A gentle, cuddly guy with plenty to learn and zero hesitation about loving his people, Kung Fu Panda is ready for someone to follow home. -
The dogs in our care are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered (when old enough), microchipped, and given a general health check. Immediate medical needs and medical history will be addressed with the adopter prior to adoption. Complete vet records will be sent shortly after adoption.
