Justine Biagi

FOSTER TO ADOPT ELIGIBLE: More information below!

AGE / WEIGHT: 9 years old / 62 lbs

GENDER: Female

ENERGY: Moderate

GOOD WITH: Dogs - Yes, Kids - TBD, Cats - TBD

BIO: Once I decide a place is mine, I tend to settle in pretty quickly — grab a toy, find a cozy spot, let's hang. I like to take a beat with new people before I go full goofball, but it doesn't take long. I love to play, I love a good dog friend, and I've got solid manners as my baseline. I bring a few quirks (then again who doesn't?). But for the right person? I'm a pretty great time.

HER FOSTER SAYS: “Justine is great - she has really been loving fetch and playing tug.”

  • Justine came to us from Texas, where she was adopted in early 2020. She spent several years in a home before being returned to rescue in 2025. Her family had a new baby and was no longer able to give her the time she needed. She is staying with our boarding partner outside the city.

  • Justine is a laid-back, affectionate dog with a goofy streak and a playful side that comes out once she's comfortable. She settles into a new environment relatively quickly and tends to be calm and easy to have around at home — the kind of dog who finds her spot, grabs a toy, and just hangs

She takes a moment with new people, but warms up faster than you might expect. Once she's decided you're okay, her personality really opens up — she's funny, cuddly, and enthusiastic about play. She loves fetch, goes all-in on tug, has a great time with toys, and is a big fan of water. She also genuinely enjoys the company of other dogs and brings a relaxed, playful energy to those relationships.

Like her GLOW namesake — a punk rock girl who did things on her own terms — Justine has her own set of rules, and she'll need an adopter who respects that. She comes with a solid training foundation: crate trained, house trained, and good on leash. She also comes with some quirks that will need consistent management and continued work, and she'll do best with an experienced dog owner who knows how to set a dog up for success rather than put her in situations where she can't win.

For someone who gets her, Justine has a lot to offer — and she's ready to show them.

  • Justine is up-to-date on required vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworm.

While in rescue, Justine received care for several medical issues; while some have been resolved, others may/will require ongoing maintenance care. If you think Justine might be a good fit for your home, we can share a more detailed medical history.

Complete veterinary records, dating back to the time of rescue, are typically sent via email after an adoption. They can also be sent in advance of an adoption, upon request.

  • Justine Biagi is eligible for our limited foster-to-adopt program, which gives approved adopters the chance to welcome a dog into their home and get to know them before finalizing an adoption. The foster-to-adopt period typically lasts 2–4 weeks and follows our standard foster guidelines. Interested adopters should submit an adoption application noting their interest in the program and the specific dog—they can connect with the adoptions team for more details.
