Jordan Sullivan
AGE / WEIGHT: 2 years old / 16 lbs
GENDER: Female
ENERGY: Moderate to Active
GOOD WITH: Dogs - Yes, Kids - TBD, Cats - No
BIO: Some dogs play it cool when they meet you. I am not one of those dogs. I'm jumping on you the second we meet, taking treats as gently as possible, and burrowing into your lap like I've known you forever. I'm food motivated, I'm friendly, and I've been told I'm very trainable — which, fair. I came all the way from Texas, and I did not come this far to be chill about it.
HER FOSTER SAYS: "She takes treats very gently, LOVES to burrow in a blanket fort, and wants to be on your lap at all times."

Jordan was rescued from a shelter in Dallas, Texas after being found as a stray. She traveled to Brooklyn in mid-June 2026.

Jordan Sullivan arrived in Brooklyn from Dallas with no baggage — literally — and maximum enthusiasm. Named after the famously loud, competitive, and deeply loyal attending physician from Scrubs, this Jordan shares the spirit: big energy, zero patience for being ignored, and an enormous soft side once she decides you're her person.
She's a goofy, clumsy, high-energy two-year-old who has not met a lap she didn't immediately want to occupy. She takes treats with impressive gentleness (a fun contrast to the rest of her personality) and loves to burrow into a blanket fort like she's been doing it her whole life. She is deeply attached and will be on your lap before you've fully sat down.
Jordan is currently finishing up the rest period required after heartworm treatment, which means her full personality is still emerging. She has a crate training foundation in place and is pee-pad trained, though she'll need house training once she's off rest and able to get outside consistently. Leash skills are a work in progress. Pulling and zig-zagging are her current mode. But she's extremely food motivated, which makes her an excellent training candidate once her activity restrictions lift.
She hasn't been properly tested with dogs yet, and cats are a no for now. She's been observed to be shy at first with new people but warms up quickly and has been friendly and appropriate with both men and women.
The right home for Jordan is one that's ready to channel her energy, put in the training work, and make room on the couch. In return, she's going to be one of the most entertaining, enthusiastic, and devoted dogs you've ever had. -
Jordan is up-to-date on required vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. She tested positive for heartworm and has completed treatment.
She has received a full health check and is currently in good health. However, we cannot make any guarantees regarding her future health or medical needs.
Complete veterinary records, dating back to the time of rescue, are typically sent via email after an adoption. They can also be sent in advance of an adoption, upon request.
