BIO: The Emerald Pool on Dominica sits in the middle of the rainforest, tucked away from everything. You have to walk in to find it — and when you do, it's completely still and completely worth it. I work the same way. I'm not going to rush at you. I'm not going to perform. I'm calm, I'm sweet, and I tend to grow on people gradually — until one day they realize they've been thinking about me all afternoon. That's just how I work.

Emerald Pool was rescued from the island of Dominica as part of a group of dogs brought to the U.S. with the help of a local rescue partner. She traveled to north in late-June 2026 and is being fostered outside the city.

The dogs in our care are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered (when old enough), microchipped, and given a general health check. Immediate medical needs and medical history will be addressed with the adopter prior to adoption. Complete vet records will be sent shortly after adoption.
