Dave Bautista
AGE/ESTIMATED WEIGHT: 2.5 years old / 60 lbs
BIO: The guy you saw in the wrestling ring is not who I am. I’m way sillier and friendlier! I’m a total love bug who’s always seeking out my people for some extra attention. When I’m not cuddled up with my besties, you can find me running after some of my favorite toys—I’m a very active pup who adores play time! I’m also a bit of a brainiac: I’ve mastered “sit” and am quickly learning new commands.
PERSONALITY: Friendly, entertaining, clumsy

Meet Dave Bautista — yes, like the wrestler-turned-actor, but way cuddlier and with a zero-aggression policy. Dave is a big-hearted goofball who loves being near his people without being overbearing. He’ll happily snuggle up next to you for maximum lap or couch time, but he’s also perfectly content chilling nearby while you go about your day. Think affectionate companion, not Velcro dog… though he can flip into full-on cuddle mode in an instant.
Dave has playful bursts of energy balanced with mellow downtime. He loves walks, Kong bones, and goofy moments like chasing his own tail or trying to figure out toys, and then seamlessly transitions into nap mode. He’s friendly, gentle, and endlessly entertaining — the kind of dog who makes you laugh while feeling grateful he chose you.
With people, he’s outgoing without being pushy, charming everyone he meets. He’s great with kids (though his enthusiasm is best suited to older kids) and social with other dogs, greeting them politely and enjoying play on his terms.
Training-wise, Dave is crate trained, house trained, and improving on leash skills. He does have a mischievous streak — shoes and pillowcases need supervision — but redirecting that energy to toys works well.
In short: Dave Bautista is affectionate, playful, and clever, with the perfect balance of closeness and independence. He’s ready to be your sidekick in walks, naps, and everyday adventures.

“Dave is so cuddly and friendly. Even though he is 60 pounds, he seems to have no idea how big he is. He will gladly invite himself onto your lap to hang out! He is such a sweetheart with everyone and just wants to be everyone’s friend."

We do our best to ensure the dogs in our care are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered (when old enough), microchipped, and given a general health check. Immediate medical needs and medical history will be addressed with the adopter prior to adoption. Complete vet records will be sent shortly after adoption.
