Cosmic Coconut
AGE / WEIGHT: 3 mos old / weight TBD
GENDER: Male
ENERGY: Puppy energy!
GOOD WITH: Dogs - Yes, Kids - Yes, Cats - TBD
ABOUT ME: Every person on the sidewalk is a friend I haven't met yet, and I take that job seriously. I'm goofy, sharp, and packed with puppy horsepower, but flip on the TV and I go completely still, totally transfixed. I've got a brother I adore wrestling with, treats worth negotiating for, and a whole city of smells to investigate. Still learning my manners, already fluent in enthusiasm.
MY FOSTER SAYS: "Coco learned how to do stairs this week and he is so pleased with himself! He bunny hops up and down the stairs and clearly is having so much fun. Next stop: jumping up on the couch."

Cosmic Coconut is from Selma, Alabama, where he was born in a foster home in early May 2026 after his mother was found heavily pregnant at a local shelter, one of a litter of nine puppies. He traveled to the Brooklyn area in late July 2026.

Coco is a young dog who meets the world at full volume and assumes everyone in it is thrilled to see him. He is goofy, smart, and endlessly friendly, greeting new people with so much enthusiasm that a jumping habit comes with it, though it is always warm and well-meant. He has plenty of puppy energy to burn and a quick, curious mind to match.
His idea of a good day includes a game of fetch, a wrestling session with his brother, and, oddly enough, a stretch of quality television. When the screen comes on, he plants himself and stares, fully absorbed. When it goes off, he is back to investigating everything within reach.
He is comfortable with kids of all ages he has met out in the world and has been happy and social around other dogs on his walks, so a home with a resident dog could suit him, though he does not need one. He has not spent time around cats yet, so that remains an open question.
On the training front he is crate trained and settled in his crate, has a solid house-training foundation, and is picking up leash skills, though a puppy's interest in every crumb on the sidewalk is still a work in progress. He is bright and eager, and he is already growing calmer and more confident by the week.
What he needs is an adopter with the time and humor for a clever, high-energy puppy who is going to be a lot of fun to raise. -
The dogs in our care are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered (when old enough), microchipped, and given a general health check. Immediate medical needs and medical history will be addressed with the adopter prior to adoption. Complete vet records will be sent shortly after adoption.
