BIO: Held like a baby? Absolutely. Running the show five minutes later? Also yes. I'm an island girl with a whole lot of energy and even more sweetness. I've been told I'm the kind of dog who makes friends before you even know what happened. Leash manners are a work in progress (we'll figure it out together), but my enthusiasm and affection? Those are already fully baked. I'll travel a long way to find my people.

Caribbean Elaenia was rescued from the island of Dominica. She will be traveling to Brooklyn in mid-June 2026 to begin her next chapter in a foster home.

The dogs in our care are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered (when old enough), microchipped, and given a general health check. Immediate medical needs and medical history will be addressed with the adopter prior to adoption. Complete vet records will be sent shortly after adoption.
