BIO: Six years old and not remotely slowing down — at least not on a walk. I'm the calm, steady presence you've been looking for at home, right up until the moment I see a leash, at which point I have somewhere to be and I'd like us to get there. I'm friendly, I'm easygoing, and I've had enough years on this island to know exactly what I like. Turns out, it's you — and a solid walk, or two, every day.

Calabash was rescued from the island of Dominica, where she was cared for by a local rescue partner. She will travel to Brooklyn in mid-June 2026.

The dogs in our care are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered (when old enough), microchipped, and given a general health check. Immediate medical needs and medical history will be addressed with the adopter prior to adoption. Complete vet records will be sent shortly after adoption.
