BIO: Calm, friendly, and happy — that's not a good day for me, that's just how I'm built. I showed up that way, and I've stayed that way. I'm not performing contentment; I'm just genuinely, reliably fine with things. New people, new places, whatever you've got going — I'll find the fun in it. Some dogs need a lot to feel okay. I'm not one of those dogs.

Bananaquit was rescued from the island of Dominica, where she was cared for by a local rescue partner. She will to travel to Brooklyn in mid-June 2026.

The dogs in our care are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered (when old enough), microchipped, and given a general health check. Immediate medical needs and medical history will be addressed with the adopter prior to adoption. Complete vet records will be sent shortly after adoption.
