Alamo may be named after a historic standoff, but there’s no resistance here—he’s winning hearts faster than you can say “squeaky lamby toy.” This sweet, goofy, lovable guy is part cuddle bug, part sidewalk celebrity, and 100% charmer.
Alamo lives for human connection. He’s the kind of dog who will politely insert himself into your plans, your friend’s plans, and your neighbor’s plans—all in the hopes of belly rubs and squeaky toy tosses. He’s friendly with everyone he meets, from seniors to preteens who forget their phones exist the moment he makes eye contact. He asks for affection with just the right mix of confidence and manners—never overwhelming, always endearing.
Moderately energetic, Alamo enjoys walks, puzzle toys, and lazy lounging sessions. His current obsessions include his squeaky lamby (which travels with him like a beloved sidekick) and any food that fits in a Kong. He’s also a low-key genius—figuring out food puzzles, adapting to new spaces, and mastering the fine art of snuggling.
He’s house trained, pretty good on leash, and social with other dogs. He’s lived with both dogs and cats, and while he may need some guidance coexisting with feline roommates, he’s shown potential for peaceful living. Crate training is in progress—he settles down with a little encouragement—and he’s overall well on his way to becoming a perfect gentleman.
Basically? Alamo is that rare combo of soulful, silly, and smart—a dog who turns strangers into superfans and walks into hearts like he’s always belonged there. If you’re ready to be the next lucky human on Team MoMo, grab a squeaky toy and make it official.

We do our best to ensure the dogs in our care are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered (when old enough), microchipped, and given a general health check. Immediate medical needs and medical history will be addressed with the adopter prior to adoption. Complete vet records will be sent shortly after adoption.
Alamo is currently being treated for heartworm—a serious but very treatable medical condition common among dogs rescued from the south—and heartworm-related health issues. In our effort to save as many dogs as possible, approved adopters can bring their Badass home during the course of heartworm treatment which opens up foster homes for new dogs. The Badass Adoptions Team will discuss covered costs and ongoing responsibilities required during this treatment period, to be agreed to prior to adoption.
