Badass Animal Rescue is Celebrating 15 Years! 🎉

In 2026, Badass Animal Rescue celebrates 15 years of saving Badass dogs from impossible situations: and building a community that refuses to look away.

Founded in 2011, Badass is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit network of rescuers, fosters, volunteers, and supporters working together to rescue dogs facing imminent euthanasia in high-volume shelters across the rural southern United States. Before adoption, every dog receives full veterinary care, training, and the stability of a loving foster home: because rescue doesn’t stop at the shelter door.

Over the past 15 years, more than 4,000 dogs have found their forever homes through Badass. This milestone is a big f*ckin deal because it represents resilience, growth, and the collective power of a community that shows up again and again for dogs who need it most.

As part of the 15th Anniversary Celebration, Badass will be bringing events, rescue trips and many opportunities for you to support our efforts, in order to fuel our mission, support fosters and help save thousands more lives in the years ahead.
