Lindsey Vonn
AGE/ESTIMATED WEIGHT: 2 years old / 45 lbs
GENDER: Female
BIO: Lindsey Vonn is a bright, loving girl who went from being turned away at an overcrowded shelter to becoming a total standout at our GA rescue partner. Friendly, playful, and eager to please, she’s the kind of dog who makes every day feel like a blue-sky powder day. With a little more training and a lot of love, she’ll ski right into your heart.
PERSONALITY: Playful, Social, Big-hearted
-
Meet Lindsey Vonn—not the Olympian, but she will slide directly into your heart with the same gusto. This Lindsey brings big goofy energy, joyful chaos, and a gold-medal commitment to being your new favorite companion.
She’s friendly, outgoing, and genuinely thrilled to meet every person she sees—sometimes a little too thrilled, as evidenced by her “I must jump to show my love” approach. With a bit of training and structure, she’ll learn that enthusiastic tail wags count as an acceptable greeting too.
With other dogs, Lindsey shines. She’s been the life of playgroups at camp, absolutely loves romping with canine buddies, and arrived in NYC ready to make even more dog-friends. If your home has another playful pup, consider that a green flag.
Indoors, Lindsey is a Grade-A cuddle bug. She'll happily sprawl across the couch, then stealthily inch her way closer until her head is on your lap—her version of a perfect run.
Training-wise, she’s a work in progress in all the classic young-dog ways: pulls on leash, has some accidents, gets a little mouthy when excited, and thinks crates are great…until the door closes. But she’s trainable, eager to please, and still very new to city life, so expect growth with consistency and patience.
Lindsey loves chew toys, loves people, loves dogs, and loves love. If you’re looking for a sweet, silly, social pup who brings joy everywhere she goes, Lindsey’s ready to make your home her podium.
