Meet Lewis Hamilton, a calm, gentle soul with a name that might make you expect speed—but he’s more of a smooth cruise with bursts of playful curiosity. Lewis is the kind of dog who greets life (and people) with warmth, friendliness, and a subtle “hey, I like you” kind of charm. He’s curious and attached, and once he knows you, he’ll happily follow you around like your personal, four-legged shadow.
Lewis is moderate-energy: he enjoys regular walks, exploring his surroundings, and the occasional play session, but he’s equally content curling up beside you for a long cuddle. His leash manners are excellent, and he’s remarkably calm in the city. He notices other dogs but generally stays confident and relaxed, walking right past them without a fuss.
He thrives on human interaction and treats—offer him a tasty morsel and he’ll sit politely, wagging his tail like it’s his day job. Though initially he may be a bit cautious if someone leans over him, he quickly warms up to friendly attention.
Socially, Lewis is great with other dogs, from foster siblings to packs at dog camp, and has handled minor scuffles gracefully without incident. Cats remain TBD, but he’s calm, respectful, and attentive, suggesting he can adjust with guidance.
Training-wise, Lewis has a solid foundation: house-trained, crate-trained, and responsive to basic cues. He may be a little hesitant at first when left alone, but he quickly settles and relaxes once he knows you’ll return.
