Julia Fox
AGE / WEIGHT: 5 years old / 55 lbs
GENDER: Female
ENERGY: Moderate
GOOD WITH: Dogs - Yes, Kids - Yes, Cats - Yes
BIO: I may share a name with a downtown icon, but my version of “Uncut Gems” is collecting perfectly polished humans to adore me. I’m social, affectionate, and effortlessly adaptable—think model-off-duty energy, gliding through life on leash and making friends wherever I go. I love attention and conversation (yes, please keep talking about me), but I’m cool just lounging nearby instead of demanding center stage. Dogs, cats, families, strangers—I fit in everywhere, because darling, I was born for the spotlight and the after party cuddle.
HER FOSTER SAYS: “Julia runs up to every stranger on the street and tries to lick their face. She is fishing for compliments and she gets a lot of them.”

Meet Julia Fox — a girl who knows she’s charming and absolutely plans to use it for good.
Julia is the kind of dog who assumes every person she passes is a potential new best friend. She does polite little toe taps on walks, happily accepts pets from strangers, and will deliver a quick face lick if you get within range. She’s affectionate and people-focused without being clingy — she loves being near you, soaking up praise and conversation, but she’s not angling to be a permanent lap accessory.
She’s eager to please, gentle, and very trainable. Julia has been wonderful with kids, including a 3-year-old she adores and older children she met over the holidays. She’s also great with other animals. She’s lived with dogs and cats, greets new dogs confidently (big ones included), and is respectful when another dog needs space. She’ll romp for a short burst, then move along to her next curiosity.
At home, she’s crate trained and house trained, signaling clearly when she needs to go out. She’s adjusted beautifully to city life — traffic, noise, and new environments don’t faze her. Her leash skills are improving, though she still yearns to explore. As she’s gotten comfortable, her energy has increased a bit; she enjoys walks, outdoor adventures, rope toys, and then settling in to cuddle or watch TV (Olympics included). She can get curious about trash or wander off to investigate, so enrichment and engagement help her stay balanced.
Julia doesn’t need marathon runners — she just wants a home that includes her. If you’re looking for a friendly, adaptable, moderately active companion who’s equal parts sweet and curious, Julia is ready to join the cast of your everyday life.
