Meet Clairo, your favorite indie-pop earworm in dog form: catchy, energetic, and absolutely impossible to ignore.
Clairo is a goofy, clumsy, joy-on-legs kind of girl who believes the world is made of friends she just hasn’t met yet. Strangers? Immediate tail wags. Dogs across the street? Potential besties. Delivery trucks, squirrels, the wind? All very exciting. “Friendly” barely covers it — Clairo is socially fearless and enthusiastically inclusive.
Her energy lives in bursts: zoom, wrestle, pounce… then suddenly plop — she’s asleep on your lap, snoring like she pays rent. She loves to play fetch, tug, and chew on her benebone or antlers, preferably with an audience. Being with people is her favorite activity, full stop. She’s affectionate, attached, and fully prepared to supervise your workday by sleeping directly on you.
Clairo has been fostered with kids and did great. She adores other dogs and plays hard but reads the room well — when an older dog says “no thanks,” she listens. Cats are still TBD, though her interest so far looks playful, not intense.
Training-wise, she’s crate trained and house trained, though she may regress when settling into a new home. She walks comfortably on leash but will need help mastering city manners, especially around distractions. She’s also a bit mouthy and nibbley in classic puppy fashion — to initiate play or get attention. This is improving but still a work in progress.
Clairo is for someone who wants a dog who will love loudly, nap deeply, and choose them every single day. If you’re ready for joy with a pulse, she’s ready for you.

Clairo is up-to-date on required vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworm.
She has received a full health check and is currently in good health. However, we cannot make any guarantees regarding her future health or medical needs.
Complete veterinary records, dating back to the time of rescue, are typically sent via email after an adoption. They can also be sent in advance of an adoption, upon request.
