BIO: When it comes to good dogs, I really am a work of art! I’m as playful and fun-loving as can be, and when I’m not chasing a ball, you can find me curling up with my people to get some scratches. I’m also a smart cookie—I love to train and can learn new commands quickly!

FOSTER: “Caddy is really loving, always curious, and loves playing with people or dogs. And she loves to roll over on her back, asking for belly scratches!”

  • Originally from Texas

  • Like her namesake, Cadillac Ranch is one-of-a-kind — bold, beautiful, and built for adventure. This smart, spirited girl is full of personality and heart, with a mix of playful goofiness and intuitive sweetness that keeps her humans smiling every day.

Caddy is a fun-loving, high-energy dog who thrives when she’s active and engaged. She loves hiking, playing with toys, and joining in on any adventure — but she also knows how to wind down afterward with a good bone or some cuddle time (bonus points if she can nap on your lap).

In the home, she’s a star student — fully house- and crate-trained, quick to learn commands, and respectful once she understands the rules. She’s happiest when she’s near her people and loves being part of the action, though she’s learning that independence can be a good thing too.

Caddy has been fostered with multiple dogs of different sizes, ages, and energy levels, and she’s done beautifully with all of them. She’s friendly, social, and knows how to read the room — always happy to play or simply hang out, depending on the vibe.

She’s also been fostered with a cat and has made steady progress learning to coexist, though she may still chase if given the chance. A cat-free home or one with thoughtful management would be the best fit.

Outside, Caddy can be anxious around certain triggers (for example, some men, bikes, or unpredictable people), but with patience, structure, and continued confidence-building, she’s making steady progress. Her fosters have done a great job helping her channel her energy into exploration and play instead of worry.

At her core, Cadillac Ranch is a joyful, loyal companion who’s eager to please and loves deeply. She’ll do best with an adopter who enjoys long walks, outdoor adventures, and has the patience to guide her through the world when it feels a little overwhelming.

If you’re looking for a clever, loving, endlessly entertaining sidekick to share your life (and your toys) with — Caddy’s your girl.

  • Cadillac Ranch is up-to-date on required vaccinations, is spayed, has been microchipped, and tested negative for heartworm.

She has received a health check and we believe she is in good health. However, we cannot make any guarantees regarding future health or healthcare needs.

Complete veterinary records, dating back to the time of rescue, are typically sent via email after an adoption. They can also be sent in advance of an adoption, upon request.

  • Cadillac Ranch is eligible for our limited foster-to-adopt program, which gives approved adopters the chance to welcome a dog into their home and get to know them before finalizing an adoption. The foster-to-adopt period typically lasts 2–4 weeks and follows our standard foster guidelines. Interested adopters should submit an adoption application noting their interest in the program and the specific dog—they can connect with the adoptions team for more details.
