BIO: I don’t play football, but I am a pro at cuddling, comedy, and naps. I’m a sweet, gentle guy who loves meeting new people and saying hello by scooting in for a snuggle. I’m a little clumsy and sometimes miss half my dog bed when I flop down, but that’s part of my charm. I enjoy walks, big chew toys, and serious lounging. Draft me to your home?

HIS FOSTER SAYS: He loves to stand up on top of something tall! We were on a walk the other day and he hopped right on top of a big old stump and looked like a king up there.”

  • From a shelter in GA; Khalil traveled to Brooklyn in mid-January 2026.

  • Kal’s got wide-receiver-level charisma, but his real skills are all heart, charm, and elite-level cuddling. He’s a showstopper with a goofy, slightly uncoordinated walk that makes everyone smile. Equal parts gentle and entertaining, Kal is the kind of dog who feels instantly familiar—like he’s been on your team all along.

He’s settled into city life quickly and grows more confident every day. Curious and bold, he loves exploring new corners of his world (with the occasional hilariously clumsy misstep), and he’s still figuring out his own size—leading to some sitcom-worthy antics that only add to his charm.

Extremely friendly and social with people, Kal thrives in busy, guest-filled settings, staying calm in and out of his crate. He loves attention and has mastered the calm hello followed by enthusiastic snuggles. He’s attached, eager to please, and very trainable.

With other dogs, Kal is playful and optimistic, happy to walk alongside them and hopeful everyone wants to be his friend. Crate trained, house trained, and steadily improving on leash, he’s a moderately active boy who adores walks, playtime, snow adventures, and long naps.

Kal is ready to join your team, bringing laughter, love, and plenty of big-paw antics to every day.

  • Khalil is up-to-date on required vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworm.

He has received a full health check and is currently in good health. However, we cannot make any guarantees regarding his future health or medical needs.

Complete veterinary records, dating back to the time of rescue, are typically sent via email after an adoption. They can also be sent in advance of an adoption, upon request.
